Garmin 296 screen ribbon cable

I was replacing the internal battery on a Garmin 296 for a friend, did this before on my 396 with no problems.

I got the battery installed but during reassembly the ribbon cable for the display disconnected from the socket on the board.

The socket appears to have a little flip part that doesn't seem to lock down to secure the ribbon cable.

Can anyone direct me to somewhere that shows how to reconnect that cable?
