Thumbs up Rudi's RV Building Movies

Hi Guys,

My 1000Hour Building movie was such an unexpected hit. I had the slideshow on my website for some time, but nobody really paid attention. Looks like a movie format is much better, at least you get some corny trance music.

Last night was one of the coldest nights this winter in South Africa, Johannesburg, it got close to Freezing point. We had a couple of snow flakes, last time it snowed here was in 1981. Yes we have winter now here in the Southern Hemisphere. It was too cold to go outside to the garage and work on the RV. So I stayed inside and converted my slide shows that were on my website into movies, because they are more popular it seems.

These movies are more clinical slow stop animation sequences, compared to the 1000Hour movie which has more character. These movies contain also a bit more pictures than in the original 1000Hour Movie.

Here?s the links to the YouTube LOW Quality movies that you can stream to your PC.
Part 1 ? The Wings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpmUgNNqLwI
Part 2 ? The Tanks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuQNhMiUefI
Part 3 ? The Fuse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5e_fXOhSyM
Part 4 ? The Cabin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aWY6zfUets

The 1000Hour Celebration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfUikuSd694

If you want the High Quality movies then you can Download them from my website. Just follow the links to my RV7 page, they will be available in a day or two.

Kind Regards
Rudi

Your videos are great, but why are you staying inside when it not even below freezing! I would give anthing for those kind of temperatures right now! Of course, we have cooled down dramatically here in the midwest from freakin' ridiculously hot all the way down to really hot. Get back in that nice cool shop and finish that airplane!

Default Winter?

Hi Rudi,

On the complete other end of the spectrum, it is going to be 103-degrees (Fareheit) here in Dallas/Fort Worth today

I wish we could 'trade' some weather

Rudi,

Great videos! I'll be doing a slow build fuselage & it was great to see how it goes together.

Can I slow down the presentation?

Hi Scot,
Yes you can! Go to my website and Download the Movie file, if you want to see good detail Download the BIG High Quality File.

Play it back in Windows Media Player:
In Media Player go to the Menu -> Play -> Play Speed -> Slow
or just hit (CTRL + SHIFT +S)

It slows it down to get a good look, and the music sounds kinda cool at half speed as well

Regards
Rudi

Oh man, I can't wait to see the end of the project movie when all of them are combined with the first flight movie! Looks like you take great care in your building and movie editing. Lets get that thing done!

Rudi,

Awesome videos! I need to get those playing out in the garage every once in a while... particularly while deburring! I get so bored and can't wait for the project to be done when I'm deburring.. the videos would surely be a boost!

Default Neat video

I thought about making my own video just like yours but I could not see the airplane in the pictures because of all the junk in my shop
Nice work
