Default Lap joint: how much edge bend is enough?

I am using for the first time the tool to bend egdes for lap joints.

The tool I have has 2 rollers mounted on a handle/stick; the 2 rollers are shaped for a 1/4 inch bend, and the distance between the rollers is adjustable.

At the maximum distance between the rollers (for minimum bend), I get a bend of about 15 deg. for a skin of 0.025. I think this is a bit to much for a edge bend for a lap joint.

I modified the tool so I can increase the distance between the rollers and then can get less angle for the bend.

I think 10 deg or even 5 deg would be sufficient for the purpose of the lap joint.

What is the dimension of a good bend, enough to do the job, but not to much to be too visible once the skin are riveted?
