Default Used 0-320-D2A

Hi All,
What are your thoughts on buying a used 0-320-D2A for an RV-8?
It is a 2006 model, and has 2300 TTIS (1st life), 72/72/74/74 over 80 compressions.
Comes with all accessories and it seems to be pretty cheap at about 5k USD.
Any thoughts appreciated!

I wouldn't be afraid of it at all. Looks like it's flown around 400 hrs/year. This engine should easily go over 3,000 hrs before overhaul is needed.

My O-320 had over 2800 hrs when I rebuilt it and every part met serviceable specs.

Thanks Mel for your quick reply!
What do you think about the price? Second hand engines seem to range greatly in price.

I don't think you can go wrong at that price.
That is assuming no prop strike or some other anomaly.
