Lightbulb Tip: Fitting mating metal parts

Hi there,

Thought I'd share this technique that I found useful when fitting the brass bushings inside the -10 aileron bellcranks.

1. Color the outside of the bushing with your blue Sharpie.
2. Slide the bushing into its mating part and spin it around a dozen or so times.
3. Remove the bushing and "read" it. The places where the Sharpie is worn away show where contact is occurring.
4. File down contact points and repeat!

Hope that helps,
David
