Default RV Reading Alert

Lauran Paine, Jr.'s column in the February 2013 "Sport Aviation" is on the RV Pink Flight over Arrowhead Stadium that many of you are familiar with. In my opinion it is a must read.

Cessnas? What? Ultralights? What?

Anything with Lauran's name attached to it should be read. What a great guy!

Ripper flew into town to pick up a kit from me over the weekend. It was nice to have a celebrity visit! Took him and Pink (another KC Flight pilot) to the Smithsonian Udvar Hazy Air & Space museum on Saturday. I hadn't been there myself in the last two years. The space shuttle was awesome to see and they did not clean it up for the display so you could see the angle of the heat on the tiles from re-entry. Pretty cool! One thing we all noticed though is that with all the planes there, quite a few EAB's as well, there is no RV displayed or even mentioned. Hopefully that gets fixed someday.

Ripper has some plans for the coming football season and I hope to be able to join them if they do the Pink Flight again.

Not sure about celebrity status, but Mike you are a great host! The Smithsonian Udvar Hazy Air & Space museum is way COOL, But No RVs'. Look forward to another trip out east so much to see, and had way too little time!

Is this it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31b028EMkuc

Looks like there were some bumps in the air that day.

How were the flares mounted and set off?
