Default manifold pressure sensing?

I got an LS1 EI with my IO360 and I'd like to keep using it. The manifold pressure sensor on the brainbox obviously needs to see manifold pressure, but does it need to be BEFORE the restrictor fitting, or can it be after? Right now I have the restrictor fitting on the engine, 1/4" hose to the transducer manifold on the firewall, and would plug the LS1 sensor in there along with the Dynon EMS sensor. Is that kosher?
