Default Wheel pants

Looking at the Sam James pant and the Carbon Composites ( Tailwind ) for my 8 .anyone have any experiance with either ? The Carbon Composites are carbonfiber and $300 (pair ) and Sam James are glass and $225 ( pair).

I did the James wheelpants. I think they look better than Van's big 'ol pants, but that's a personal opinion. I can tell you that the James pants required a fair amount of fit and finish work and I had to fabricate the mounting hardware from a set of drawings.

Default Wheel Pants

Those wheel pants are made by Brian Alley in W. VA. I've know Brian for many years. I looked at his carbon fiber wheel pants and Tailwind cowlings last year just prior to OSH. I have bought some of his other products and they are all high quality. The pants are almost identical to the SJ pants. JBerry, Abilene TX
