Default What size wire to use on the electric fuel pump and primer?

What size wire should be used to wire the electric fuel pump and the primer solenoid?

I just looked at my pump installation sheet and thought there would be some documented wire size...nope. The wires on the pump might indicate their gauge, but then again I also thought the documentation should have indicated the gauge. I used 16 AWG with a 7.5 breaker.

I did not install a primer so maybe someone else can chime in.
