Default CHT #2 high

I have 6hrs on a new cert 0360 A1A and noticed @ cht was reading while flying the other day 669 degrees. All others were anywhere from 350-365 degrees and EGT all four read in the 1100's.
Could this be the instrument, Probe or wiring, as i removed the top cowl and no sign of anything. Then again I'm..... not an A&P.

I would guess a lose probe wire or a bad sensor. Check the connectors.

Swap out the sensor for 2 with 4 and go flying. If the problem now goes to #4 then you know it is the sensor.

Default temp

I don't think she would be running at 669 degrees. Check probe or instrument.

Default CHT

I have had the same issue intermittently but with unstabilized CHT on #1 on my IO 360. Remove the cowl, jiggle / disconnect-reconnect the sensor wire and everything is ok - for about 40 hours, then occurs again.

Been too unmotivated / lazy to tear into the sensor wiring since it's obviously an electrical, not an engine issue.
