Default Heater by pass box?

looking for advise on a Firewall Mounted Warm Air Selector/Bypass Box from Vans or ???

Default Fire proof?

Personally I replaced the standard vans parts with stainless steel ones from

Or try avery tools.

Alloy ones won't last long in a engine fire.
