Help getting home
I was hoping to be able to buy or temporarily borrow a 496 power cord
I will be landing in Bakersfield this am before continuing to Orlando. If someone has a cord that they wouldn't be using for the next week it would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to pay for a new one as a replacement. My trip will take me south of Phoenix then through Texas. The battery on my 496 says about two hours remaining so I have been turning on and off just to see weather
Oh and forgot to mention, bringing a new harmon rocket back home
Thanks
Bill

I think I can hook you up if you were planning on coming through DFW area.

Just got off the phone with Bill. He is going to stop at KCCB to pickup my 396 power adapter in about two hours.

Just thinking if Bill does not want to fly to CCB to pick up my power cord, (stay out of the LA Basin) I can fly out to one of the airport to meet.
Time to hop in the shower and drive to the airport.

Don't panic. Do what we've been doing for the last 50 years or so, flight planning and using FSS enroute.

Just use your backup GPS
I just looked at the flight conditions map (1 Jan, 500 PM MST) and I expect that you may be stuck in Texas unless you got ahead of this stuff.
