Red face 396 updates?

Merry Xmas
After going to the Garmin website it seems that I can't get any new updates to the database. Is there a way to get around this?
What are other 396 users doing if anything.
Thanks in advance.

1. Set up your flyGarmin account and install Garmin's Communicator Plugin, the free Internet browser plugin that sends and retrieves data from Garmin devices.

2. Add your portable GPS to your flyGarmin.com account.

3. Update your Garmin portable's databases in a few easy steps with FlyGarmin.com.
