Default UMA Tach

I am repairing an older -6, and am starting in the middle of the project. I am trying to wire up the UMA Electronic Tach. It gets its signal (apparently) from the P-Lead terminal(s). So when the mag check is done, only the mag that is firing produces a signal? However, when checking the mags, only the right one is turned off?? Does anyone know how the Mags, Switch, and Tach are wired?
Thx. RC

Default UMA Tach

If I remember correctly we used a Tach Transducer for the reference.
It attached to where the Tach cable was normally connected

Thx you guys. The normal tach drive is capped off. But there are 2 extra wires coming of the P-leads going into the cockpit in the area of the Tachometer, but are not hooked to anything. I am assuming that the tach signal is coming from these wires..?? The back of the ignition switch is not visible. It might help if I could see a terminal designation for the switch (A-510-2). RC
