Big Day Tomorrow
Barring unforeseen mechanical or weather complications, tomorrow will be the day I finally fly my -6A project. I think I'm as prepared as I'm going to be - I have the checklists printed & ready, the test card for the first flight in place, the emergency/flight gear (chute, flight suit, helmet, gloves) ready.
Any last minute tips or suggestions from those who have gone before?

Don't be afraid to cancel if everything isn't the way you like it and the way you planned. None of us care if you don't fly when you announced that you would!

There should be absolutely *no* grinding on your first flight.
Enjoy it, and as Paul says, don't be afraid to call it off if something isn't right.

As they say, "plan the flight. Fly the plan. And if anything at all gives you a moment of question, land, stop and evaluate." This is your time to be a test pilot. Enjoy it and be be safe.
