Engine gurus - gasket sealers

I am in the process of re-gasketing all of my accessory drive pads chasing a pesky oil leak.

Does anyone use any gasket sealers or does everyone just go naked gaskets??

Gaskets should never be installed dry in my opinion. Guaranteed to tear and require scraping if done that way. I rub medium titeseal on both sides of the gasket.

I agree with Bob, a good gasket sealant should always be used, I use Titeseal but have also had good results with Hylomar.

I really like Titeseal as well. Never knew about it until I built my 9a. I now use it in my mold making business to seal water lines. It works better than anything I've used before.
