Default Tip: Buying tools...

I know like to support the VAF sponsor vendors, and I buy lots of stuff from one when I need drills, reamers, air tools, etc (for work) but.....

Don't forget craigslist, esp if you live close to a big airport, AF base or NAS. I just bought a good-sized Snap-on box with 3 drill motors (a mac palm drill, an IR Palm drill, an dan IR 90 deg drill, 3 rivet guns, a cleco runner (no use on an RV), a bunch of bits, clecos, a nice set of wrenches, Std gear wrenches, really nice pliers, strap duplicators, bucking bars, sets, nut plate jigs, etc all shadowboxed and labeled for $1k. That kind of thing is not unusual around here (close to a USAF Mx depot) but should be doable near any major commercial airport or military base with lots of aeroplanes or heliochopters (here's looking at you, Lower Alabama).

Happy hunting.....
