New transitioners.........
Wow, Friday was a fun day! Larry Dickinson and Larry Wallis showed up for some training. The little -6A surprised all of us with Larry D's 6'3" large frame, me at 195 lbs and still climbing at 1100 FPM at 150 MPH on a 96 degree Georgia day, with a Catto cruise prop no less.
I don't recall doing that many accelerated stalls left and right in one day in my whole life! Rolls, 180 degree approaches and simulated engine failure modes........Whew! Everyone went home happy and I look forward to more.
