Default oil sump plug Lycoming 1/2-18 NPT

When I replace this plug, is it tightened to a specific torque or just tight enough so it does not leak ? Had a hard time removing from a warm Aerosport IO-320.

This plug has a compressable gasket, the torque is actually an angular measurement which I have found to be a little less than ideal. I use the "goodentite" method on this item (about the same torque as most pipe thread fittings ).

Oh no... not the dreaded pipe thead AN fitting torque debate again!
