Default Comfortcat's modern basics thread

To bring Comfortcat's thread back to the GNS units, does anyone know how much these units cost and where to get them?

If you're talking about a GNS-430W - they have been superceded by the newer GTN boxes, although the GNS's can still be had for little while (we just got a couple new ones in this week for customers who wanted the 430's over the GTN's). The GNS's run around $8K+/- new and the GTN's a grand or two more. Used GNS's are available on Ebay and Barnstormers (but often at a high price and with a questionable history), new ones from most avionics shops which are Garmin dealers. We've literally sold hundreds of them over the years...they are quite popular.

Cheers,
Stein

Ahh...I see. What would be your application for one of their units at the moment?

Cheers,
