Tail light
Helping a friend finish his plane and today I removed his tail light and tried to remove the clear lense. It was secure so I did not want to break it so I let it hang on the wires while I removed the rudder control cables. Of coarse, I just got started and the lense fell out. The tail light is a 8002TL. I have spare Whelen red and green lenses that look identical but apparently they are a little larger as they don't fit the retainer ring.
It looks like the 8002TL is no longer supported. ACS does still show the complete fixture but you can no longer search what it is (if that makes sence), on all other part numbers they appear blue but the 11-02779 part number stays black, when they appear on the buy now page.
Anyone know where I could find a clear lense for the 8002TL tail light?
