Default Ccc32 rivet

I see CCC32 rivet fit a #40 hole as a mk319BS needs to be a little larger . Any reason not to use the ccc32 rivet instead ? I am thinking of using them on the top 3 an bottom 1 rivet locations on the leading edge where it attaches to the ribs. The local paint shop that paints a lot of RVs uses a lot of high build to make that area look good , mostly quick builds . Any input ?

the CCC32s are notably smaller than the MK319BS ....like, tiny by comparison. When you pull them, there's hardly any resistance to the pulling effort. They seem VERY lightweight. I used them in very few places, opting for the MK319BS in any location I thought would see significant stress.

This site has strength and size data for almost all of the pull rivets around...

If you are talking about a CCCS-03-02 rivet, it is pretty comparable in strength to the MK319BS

I also tried the CCC-3-2 and found it to be a little small for a #40 hole. The fit is very loose and it will not set all the way in thin material. I stopped using them and instead use the MK319BS. There are probably a few worthwhile places to use the CCC-3-2, so I keep a few around just in case.
