Default Canopy Bend

So here I am puttering along on the finish hit and I get to the canopy. Oh was that just some sick joke Van played on us! This thing is waaaay to big to try to bend by hand and my wife weighs 110lb so she is basically useless. She gets knocked off her feet when a breeze picks up. I had to figure something out. This is what I did: Grabbed a 2X4, carpet, my 4X4 and my wifes SUV. Worked like a charm!!

The board bends rather easily and holds this thing down like it's glued. It did not however hurt the canopy in any way. Didn't flatten the tube etc. I could have put a cloth in between but I just didn't, so there. Anyway if you're looking for some help get another car to do the work for you. I bent this so fast and perfect I'm mad it took me so long to think of it. The most time consuming part was moving the cars 4-5 times.
