Default squeeze out

I pump enough to get squeeze out plus a little more to see some clean grease.

"just six squirts"

I wounder are all guns the same? Do they all put out the same amount? I find
it hard to believe all grease guns are calibrated unless you check like Roberta
did. I did not know it was 1 oz.

Than they say, "frequently this will not be be enough to cause any grease to
come out the opposite side."

Sounds like we are OK to get squeeze out. I just go slow and try and
pressurize it.

Not much grease "evaporates" between fillings, so eventually you'll get
squeeze out after a few servicing. I get flow thru with less the 6 pumps, as I
recall.

I guess this is a like a cutting job that calls for an Ax, not a laser. They just
don't want you to try to cram as much as is physically possible in the hub.

Default Boot for Hartzell grease fittings

Does anyone know where to get replacement boots for the grease fittings?
Looks like you should change them occasionally.
