Need to buy a Governor, MT or Hartzell ?

Need to order a governor. I understand either the MT or the Hartzell governor will work on my Vans Hartzell prop.

Are there any reasons to pick one over the other ?

Woodward and McCauley governors will work too. Check with your local prop shop for a serviceable used one and save some money.

Just make sure to get one that's suitable for your engine/prop combination.
