If the -14 uses basically a clipped version of the -10 wing, does it stand to reason that the -10 wing would fit on a -14?

The -10 is a bit heavier, so I would assume if you limited yourself to -10 G limits, etc you would still be safe. I would think on the same 210 HP you would get better range in cruise (and have 10 more gallons).

This is purely just a brain exercise, not trying to redesign anything.

From my understanding, the -14 uses the same airfoil, but the wing design is not the same. I don't think the wings would mate up to the -14. I don't know this for a fact though. If the wings are a match, it would be like the -9 version of the -14. Interesting idea.

I was thinking you put the 14 wings on the -10 along with a IO-720.......Just thinking here not trying to design anything.....
