Default Got her hung...

What an exciting milestone in my project. I got my engine hung today. It took me two attempts and a little support from a local builder, but I finally got the engine hung. I followed the directions on the site here. My first attempt the third bolt was way off. So I removed the engine and put it back on the floor for the night. Next morning I followed the same steps and got the third bolt in relatively easily. Chad came over and helped me get the last bolt in. It was very close.

It looks so cool with an engine! Waiting for my Catto prop to arrive.

Good job! That is a great milestone - opens up a whole new bunch of things you can tackle! I enjoyed my FWF.

Default FWF process...

I think the FWF part was one of the more "satisfying" parts... made the project feel more "real"... light at the end of the tunnel. It reminded me a lot of the how to best fill a jar, you start with the big rocks and top it off with sand.
