Default Where to mount TCW IBBS Backup Battery

I was going to mount it behind the insturment panel. Had the space all layed out then noticed in the manual that it says "Do not mount the IBBS unit up under the instrument panel". It has 9 wires, most of them will need to be run to the instrument panel.

I put mine in the tail. Not all of those 9 wires are needed as some are just for displaying voltage to an EFIS. The others are for recharging the battery - so placing it next to the main battery is helpful. And then you just need to run the wires to the devices the IBBS will power.
