All,

What method did you use to cover your landing gear mount socket holes when you converted over. I have a few ideas...mainly riveting a patch as a fix/cover. I decided to go dragger and had already cut the socket holes. Other ideas?

Hi Ed, I just cut a couple small pieces of aluminum, painted them, and pop-riveted them in place. If you haven't painted etc. yet, I would consider using driven rivets instead.

Thanks Greg....I'm assuming you placed the skin plate on the inside? No interference problem with the 7114 corner fuselage gusset?

Correct, on the inside. I also put a bit of a bend in one side of the patch to match the curve of the fuselage - stiffens the patch a bit as well.
