Default Aviation Scholarships

Knowing the VAF community is a great group of people, i was wondering if any of you knew of aviation related scholarships. I plan to attend college next fall, and would like to at least start out with an A&P and then go from there. Any and every bit helps.

Default Many scholarships available

Have you decided which college you're going to attend? Just about every college can provide information regarding scholarships that are available - both general scholarships and program specific (ex. aviation). Some scholarships are specific to the school, so figuring out which school you want go to makes a difference.

I'm enrolled in the A&P program at Tarrant County College in Ft. Worth. Here's a link to their Aviation Scholarship page:

The TCC Foundation scholarships are only for TCC students, but most of the other ones are open to everyone. Also, don't dismiss any based on the name of the organization - the Women in Aviation scholarships are for both men and women.

Good luck

Ross was the speaker at the Van's Banquet at Oshkosh for the Eagles' Nest RV-12 project. He was an important part of the team that completed the RV-12 in Indiana and is an impressive young man.

I'm sure he will appreciate any advice the VAF community can give him.
