Default Did I do this right?

I am wiring my mag switches according to Aeroelectrics Z-11 diagram. I dont know if I understand the diagram symbology in regards to hooking up the tabs identified as tab #2 and #3. Here are 2 pictures of the switch and how diagram Z-11 says to wire it.

Here are 2 pictures of how I wired the switch

I stripped the shielding back off the wire and ran it to switch #3 (top left in picture)

2 questions:
1) Did I wire that correctly?
2) Is there any way to check my pigtail connection/crimp to make sure I am making good ground connections prior to hooking it up to the actual magnetos

Default Looks right

It looks correct to me, assuming you are holding the switch with the tab up.

To check connections, connect an ohmmeter from the loose end center conductor to the shield. Operate the switch. In the OFF position, it should read nearly zero ohms, when ON, infinite ohms.
