Garmin Updates
Canadians Beware
I had my Garmin updated with the new data base by at Oshkosh. Nothing was mentioned that the data base has changed and you can no longer get USA and Canada. You have to get Northern USA which has Canada included. Imagine my surprise when I tried to enter a Canadian airport on the way home from Oshkosk. I have other friends that had their GPS updated from a different vender with the same problem.
Called Garmin on the issue and after being on hold for 35 minutes to speak to a person, they were very good to correct the problem at no charge .
If you are a Canadian and plan on an update, ensure you get Northern USA.
