Default V speed comparison (RV-7A)

I'm in the final (official) 10 hours of flight testing.

I'm wanting to compare my V speeds with anyone with a similar configuration on an RV-7A. I'm at 1118 pounds or about 1500 pounds solo. IO-360 M1B with a FP.

Vx - 64 knots
Vy - 85 knots
Vs - 51 knots
Vso- 47 knots

Default

Haven't gotten Vy & Vx yet, but Vs at about the same weight as you is consistent at 50 KIAS; Vso is 47. Mine is a tailwheel 7, but otherwise pretty close.

Default Mine are different

Please forgive my ignorance, but is that 180 or 200 hp? My 180 hp 7A with Catto 3-blade climbs best at IAS of 110 kts, angle or rate. The reason or problem is that I have the prop set up for 2700 rpm at full throttle at 8000 or above, so I only get around 2200 to 2250 on climb out.

If the prop were not set up for cruise as it is, then I would be able to climb at a steeper angle and lower speed.
