Smile Van's Shirt Sightings

Next best thing to my own RV8

Well I had a great flight Saturday with Rick Millson, Blue Angels 68-69.
We departed PAE to the NE - about 5 min out Rick took me through a mild airshow routine.
Wow what a difference the jet makes on Aero, everything is so smooth. I am not sure what our rate of climb was (alot) but we were between 6 and 8K feet in what felt like seconds many times over and over..... After I had had enough aero we did some low level flying in the mountains. Beautiful day and very fun at 200+ kts and low.

The L-39 is a fun bird and if you ever get the chance to try one out I would not pass it up.

Thanks to Bob Deroche and Rick Millson for a great experience
