battery terminal bolts...what type is best?

couldn't find much in the posts, except some folks use stainless.
I've seen the positive post corrode, but with a 'sealed' battery, seems to be less of a problem.
can I use the typical AN bolts I have a box full of?...or will the plating inhibit the transfer of those tiny electron?

I am using SS bolts, and have not had an issue with them.

Brass would probably conduct electricity slightly better, but I suspect they would be more prone to corrosion, an well as not being as strong.
