Default Header tank AN fitting removal

Does anyone have suggestions on removing a AN fitting, that's been secured with resin, from the bottom of a header tank ?

What kind of resin? If it's epoxy, alcohol will soften most older types. Heat will too, but that might not be an option. :-)

If it was applied to the threads, good luck.
