Default Van's Propeller Testing

I asked for and received permission to copy Van's RVator (sigh - I miss that little magazine) article on the propeller testing they did a few years ago. It is the only test of its type that I have seen. I have the article still and for brevity I just scanned the last page with the table. The small print note at the bottom of the table is important.

Thanks Bob. Too bad this report was done before the Whirl Wind 200RV came out. It would be good to see how that prop stacks up.

Larry Vetterman did test the 7496-bladed Hartzell against the WW200RV on his airplane, and found them identical in cruise performance. His write-up is posted here (scroll down the page):
