Default Eagle's Nest One is ALIVE!

At about 3PM, the might Rotax mounted on EN-I roared to life for the first time. A couple fuel leaks (gotta put thread sealant on the plugs in the gascolator!) kept it from being perfect, but all other parameters were in the green, and it started on about the second blade. Second start saw it taxi to the paint shop.

With the Eagle's Nest family growing, it will be great to see this one leave the nest. It is a tight little bird! I am very proud of the kids that put this thing together, and will love to see them at the controls. Just thought you should know.

Bob

Awesome news Bob! Congratulations to you and the entire Eagles Nest crew...especially the young (and hopefully) budding builders/aviators!

Default CONGRATULATIONS

It is always a big moment when the engine first comes alive. We were all impressed with your efforts and the kids work. Look forward to seeing her and all of her builders at OshKosh.
