Default Thorp Gathering

I know, it's not totally RV related, but neither is Oshkosh! That said...

This weekend the Thorp T18 group is having a gathering at Fredericksburg TX. I am a big fan of the T-18, a two seat all metal aerobatic sportplane with nearly equal RV-6 performance and efficiency that's been around since well before Van ever put pen to paper on the RV-1. It was my first Experimental aircraft flight and I still think it's one of the best bang in sport aircraft for today's buck. Go to T82 this weekend and check them out, I think you'll agree.

Yep! I'm with Smokey. My -8 is "roomies" with a T-18 that's there this weekend.

If you see the owner of 575CK, holler at him, "Hey Mortimer, did you bring beer?"
