Default Spade or Ring Connectors for switches ?

I did use 1/4 inch spade connectors on my RV6 without any problems thinking of doing the same on my RV7A, any comments ?

Most of the higher quality switches which I prefer to use have ring terminals, so which switch you use/prefer is really the determining factor in most cases.

I also used ATC fuse blocks that use the spades terminals so I'm ok with them too. Given the choice thiough I would use ring terminals because the terminals themselves are more robust.

Spades are just fine. The good ones fit very tight and are not likely to fail.

Rings won't fall off but they can get loose and go for years that way undetected.

It's a wash either way since both are well proven.

Spades are way easier to work on.
