Default You'll never look at your spinner the same way again...

I hope this doesn't create an out of control behavior at RV fly-ins:

Go ahead, try it...you know you want to!

Actually, the reason I posted this is to see if anyone knows whether paint will dampen the harmonics or am I stuck with a musical spinner.

That is awesome. The video recorder you are using seems to change contrast as your hands are rubbing across making it look like there are lights responding to the sound inside the spinner too.
Paint I am sure will ruin this unique feature.

Thanks for bringing back memories of discovering this as a kid hanging around the hangar. I believe it was an old 182.

I can't explain why, but this made me laugh hard enough that my girlfriend in the room sounded slightly concerned for my health.

Phil,
They get that way when you laugh so hard that you hyper-ventilate...

Mike,
Cool video, man!

First they whistle, now their spinners give off harmonic sounds when stroked...what's next for the 9?
