Default fuel monitoring

I have a question for someone who has knowledge of fuel measuring systems. I have capacitance plates built as per Van's in my tanks. I have been looking around at different efis systems and it appears that most are setup for resistive input signals. So, my question is, what is the best way to convert my capacitive signal to resistive. I found some info on vans site but it seems specific for one type of gauges. Any help or advice would be appreciated very much. Thanks in advance.
