Default New RV-7 Hybrid

Actually got my new 7 gear on but haven't removed the old gear yet.
Looks strange in mid morph mode..

Was just out there last weekend for my sons wedding. I stopped by north town, but didn't get to see anyone. Maybe I'll see some of you all at OshKosh this year.

Default Why the switch, Dan?

I'm all for it, just curious as to what pushed you to go through the efforts of switching her over.

(Insert stab about "real" pilots fly taildraggers, a better looking airplane, and something regarding grass strip flip-overs here.)

Dan,
You're going to run up quite a tire bill!
(Please don't call me when it's time to change all of them... )

Dan,
Don't remove the old gear! With the extra tires you can now legally and safely increase your gross weight! At least that's how it works with tractor-trailers.

It looks like this isn't the first modification. Apparently, N20DL used to have two turbine engines: http://aviation-safety.net/database/...?id=19910506-1

Dan,
Are you going to go with individual wheel pants for all 4 tires, or just one loooong pant per side?
