Default No Belts Please

From the Eggaru website

I have abandoned belt drive. The prototype drive unit on Tom's airplane is the only one that will ever fly on the H-6 in any airplane.

The drive that will fly to Oshkosh is identical, in concept, to the one I designed 15 years ago and that has been on all the engines ever since.

This one incorporate all of the changes people have asked for, such as:
A 2.02 /1 reduction ratio. High enough to get the HP from the engine, yet low enough for good propeller efficiency. Also close enough to 2/1 for reasonably accurate division by 2 to know Propeller RPM
Increased gear, shaft and bearing diameters for 250 hp capability
Same length as before, for easy retrofit if desired.
Use the Torsion dampening, dual mass, flywheel.

This is now the standard drive unit for all engines.

Well, this is why we experiment. Some things just don't work out. Kudos to Jan for trying new ideas anyway.
