Default Ameriking to ACK Elt

I just installed a new ACK 406 ELT. I want to use my old Ameriking 4 pin phone wire with the new ACK remote and audio module.

Tried using a radio Shack 4 pin coupler to connect the ACK 4 pin wire to the Ameriking 4 pin wire back at the ELT.

Won't work. I suspect that the coupler improperly cross-connects the 4 pin phone wire.

Anybody got a fix???? Like a straight 4 pin coupler??

Thanks

Maybe I just figured it out - disassembled the coupler, and rewired it for "non-crossover".

Will that do it??

Thanks again

I did this and used the female-female union. I used the old line and made sure the wires didn't cross with my meter. It took a while for my brain to catch up but it finally did. I also used the mount I made in the back with the existing ameriking tray. It worked great and I didn't have to pull a new wire through the fuse.
