Default Imperial Three way Fuel valve Maintenance.

Anyone who has a good description of how to properly service an Imperial Fuel valve. Lubrication, check points, wear determination and general suggestions?

Do you mean the infamous "John Denver killer" Imperial valve?

Lube it lightly with a product called "Fuel Lube".

Use just a light coating on the spool. If you use any excess, it will get into your gascolator screen and avgas does not dissolve it. The valve should not kill you if you maintain it properly. RIP J.D.
