Default 0-320 A2B Oil Filter adapter

I have an 0-320 A2B on my RV6 (corrected- not an E2B). Thinking of installing a B&C or similar oil filter adapter to replace the current oil screen. Anyone done this mod? Just wondering if it will work and what spacer is required. I have Bendix mags with a wet vacuum pump. Any pictures would be appreciated. Thanks Jeremy

I've been studying this as well.
Do a search on this forum for the Lycoming Lube Oil System.
I have the oil screen.
If you convert to an oil filter, you will probably be using a Vernatherm which thermostatically controls the oil flow to the cooler.
The older system uses a "Viscosity Valve" which you would need to remove if installing an oil filter adapter with a Vernatherm.
Some oil screen housings have the Vernatherm, so you could move that over to your B&C filter adapter?
