Default Mixture bracket mounting?

Mounting my mixture bracket tonight I discovered the sump studs seem short.
This is on an IO-375...any ideas? I'll be calling Bart in the am

Replace the thick washer with a thin washer, should give you another thread and use a bit of locktite during final install.

Default Thin washer

You're looking at a thin washer already, I guess I could take out the lock washer and just use loctite

Smile mixture bracket install

Hello Kai,

Bart will gladly supply you with a few longer studs. He did for me.

Question: do you have the Cold Air Induction Sump, and if so, how did you install the bracket /lever assembly?

regards,

Normand RV8 engine/cowling

Default Sump

Bart suggested that I just back out the threads a turn or two.
It is a "stock" sump. I want to get this plane flying so I wanted to avoid making a bunch of modifications to make the firewall forward kit "fit". That said I'm still finding a variety of little challenges on a daily basis. Today was the mixture arm on the FI servo.
