Default Engine Make for FAA paperwork

With my plane about done, I've started in on all the fun FAA paperwork.

In a couple of places, it ask for the engine manufacturer.
I have a Lycoming based IO-375 made by the folks at Aerosport power.

Do I list Aerosport Power as the manufacturer, or Lycoming?

Thanks,
Jason

FWIW, I listed Aero Sport as the manufacturer for mine, but looking up my registration online, it now says Lycoming. Weird, since Lycoming did not build my engine. Maybe they just assume all IO-540s are made by Lycoming.

Default Had a similar experience ...

I spoke with a local FSDO inspector and indicated that it would really be best to correct the records. A telephone call to FAA Registry in Ok City was all that was necessary. When they saw that the on line record did not match the paperwork as submitted, they agreed to change it - and it is now correct.
