Default Micro 1000 EGT/CHT guage and CHT probe size

I am planning to buy a Micro 1000 combined egt/cht temp guage.

Does anyone have any experience or feedback about this guage?

Also, does anyone know which size probe, 10, 14 or 18 mm, is used in an O-320?

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Default Micro 1000

Well,

I will answer my own question for posterity.

I bought the a/n guage which has simple good looks.

My first clue of a problem was that the cht lead had one spade connector and one ring connector. Well there are only spade connectors on the back of the guage, so I cut off the ring and connected a spade.

During first run up neither cht nor egt worked. Through the jigs and reels I determined that the leads were reversed to the connectors on the back of the guage.

I swapped out all four connectors on the leads and now it works.

FYI

Jim
